Renegade Farm Arabian Ponies have been participants at the Ride the West All Breed Horse Expo at the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds for the last few years!
We really love our time there and look forward to many years of being part of such a great weekend!
When we do go, we go under the Arabian Pony Registry of America name in order to try to raise awareness of how wonderful Arabian bred ponies really are!
We have enjoyed meeting top trainers like Josh Lyons, Charles Wilhelm, Carole Mercer, Doug and Kathy Vouchel, Van Hargis, Ken McNabb, Karen Scholl and a large selection of pretty good local trainers as well!
Susan Rae, her husband Rick and the many volunteers make this truely one of the best Equine Event Weekends to attend in the great Northwest!

Maria got to ride Netuno a Mangalarga Marchador gelding owned by the Silchers of the 4 Seasons Ranch from Hamilton, MT. This is a rare gaited breed from Brazil that are used for cattle and trails!
Thank you Lori!

Maria now wants a Marchador so I guess eventually we will have two breeds in the family!
The next group of pictures was of our showcase on Sunday morning. We decided to really spice things up a bit and turned all 3 of the young ones loose with Reno and Jazz both in the arena under saddle! It ended up being loads a fun and a great success! The crowds cheered and loved the show they put on!

All done running around! When I went to the gate with Reno, I hopped off and left him standing while I called the babies in. They all came right to us and made us so proud of them!
Thank you Susan Rae, Rick and the many volunteers that make this such a great event to attend!
See you in May 2009!
